Value-Added Gains

To create more opportunity in the peanut value chain, the Innovation Lab builds partnerships in each country between the public and private sector, and establishes new partnerships in seed production and local processing. Research focuses on seed production of improved varieties, best management practices to optimize quantity and quality of the peanut crop by smallholder farmers, and effective practices for harvesting, drying, storage and shelling.
