Background

With a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis in Nutritional Biology and International Nutrition, Dr. Papathakis' area of expertise is clinical maternal and child nutrition. Since she came to Cal Poly as a nutrition professor, Dr. Papathakis has worked to engage in nutrition research in developing counties and to provide global nutrition experiences for students in the classroom and in the field.
